I am a Navy veteran currently employed in the field of public safety. I have a passion for the founding of America and the American Revolution. I feel that my ideas create a niche in the market that no one has explored and I am excited to share them with you.
I am deeply involved into researching the American Revolutionary War. One day, after doing some research, I started thinking about how most patriotic t-shirts just touch the surface of the revolutionary war era by focusing on dates, flags, or famous slogans. I began taking notes and highlighting ideas I envisioned on a t-shirt. One of those ideas was the inspiration for our company name.
The company name "Liberty & Laws" was taken from a street ballad that patriots began singing after the events of the Boston Massacre that led to the Boston Tea Party. It went like this:

Our hope is that people see someone wearing our design and want to ask questions, and the person wearing the design would be able to answer those questions. The story behind every design is included on the website. The rich history of the American revolution has created fascinating stories, and they've inspired us to come up with creative designs based on the many events and characters.

Liberty and laws were very important ideas to Americans during this era and stood for responsibility, integrity, and equality. When it came to self-governance every American had the responsibility to act with integrity to his fellow American, and every American was equal under the law they established. Today these values still define us and make us who we are. We want to inspire you through our clothing to honor and exemplify our forefathers values. We believe that what you wear should reflect your values and make you feel proud.
